We all know mods are been suggesting by the other mods etc
So what about a new system to elect new moderators
A new section in the forums where all moderator applications will be posted and on those applications Epicmafia can vote on so its more fair choosing the mod for epicmafia by the players of epicmafia
So its -1 votes or +1 votes with a reason why you downvote or upvote
This will highly stop mods suggesting only friends
A mod should be choosed by the players of epicmafia and not the mods themselves
Current template i thought up
Main account:(Whats your main account)
Alternate accounts:(Your alternate accounts)
Why would you be a good mod(explanition why you be a good mod)
What would you do if three poeple gets into a fight with eachother(explaining how you would handle it)
Do you have any prior experience being a mod?
Did you contribute something to the community
Your timezone:
Langauges you speak(sometimes there are games with other langauges but very uncommonly)
it's the same thing bro. if it's people getting enough votes, getting elected or not elected, then votes being transferred automatically to secondary candidates, it's still blind. there has to be personal input the whole way along or it's broken. that's what it is, right?
i for one except the full support of the anime demographic on epicmafiadotcom, and that alone should be enough. I don't have to appeal to any dirty normies in order to achieve my goals

Telling by the uproar of the community saying "The moderators are corrupt" and the intense amount of appeals and unlawful vios, it seems that the community would be better off selecting moderators through an organized election because the community knows what they want/expect. I, myself, expect a fair moderator that actually takes the reportee and reporter into consideration rather than just the anger or the reporter, or just the sadness of the reportee, or has a bias from any type of friendship. Basically speaking, moderators need to know the game, know the feeling of losing/winning, know what cheaters do/look like, and also are able to have no bias with people they like/dislike. What it seems like from the uproar of the community is that the moderators seem to buddy with buddies, and harshly punish those they dislike. I do see comments on the lobby wall about a moderator's "corruption" or a report that they feel was unfair at least once a day. When to be honest, it shouldn't even be on the lobby wall because moderators should be fair to begin with. It's one thing to have troll reports or grudge reports, but to have legitimate reports also be judged wrongly or harshly is just terrible. Because the community knows what this feels like/knows what's wrong or right, a democratic set up for electing moderators should be appropriate. Also, to further explain, some current mods, for example, may be corrupt. To have those mods be the ones to choose the next mods is kind of bad for the community and epicmafia itself.
(edit) For the record, I don't know what these voting algorithms have to do with anything .-.

I'm here to write political campaign songs for you, and arrange a suitable Z-list celebrity to sing it for you, all for just £99 per hour.
i am gonna explain arrow's impossibility theorem to u noobs. ok, say u have 3 people for election and 100 people voting. 30 vote person A, 30 vote person B, and 40 vote person C. so person C wins and gets elected. the thing is tho, 60 people really don't like person C and if there'd been better coordination in the voting those 30 on A and B each would've teamed up to have someone else elected before him. ergo, voting is broken unless it's completely dynamic. same goes for rank/order, it doesn't fix it being random/blind. successive voting is the only thing that gives u a fair approximation of what people want. that exists easily in plus and unplusses in a forum thread and open discussion
