This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.
Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.
Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

Can hide in other people's homes When people visit his home and he visit someone else they cant kill him. if the home owner gets killed the immigrant dies also Third Party since he isnt from here and only wins if village survives. Pops up as Villager for cops/maf since he cant attack but visit other people. if there is more immigrants they have a meeting who are they going to visit.

Loan Shark Created bycoolkidrox1236 months ago Each day can loan a room to one player who can then choose another player to room with In exchange for the room, the player gives the Loan Shark their voting right If the player that rented the room gets killed while inside the room the killer must pay the renter's debts by giving the Loan shark their voting right. Therefore revealing to the Loan Shark (and maybe the other players) who the killer is. The renter can choose to repay their debt to the loan shark on a later day but each day they leave it off the debt will rise and once they finaly pay their debt the loan shark gains the amount of votes that the player was in debt for. Wins if he has rented a room to every player/made all the players pay him
There's like 50 million roles suggested but I'll suggest like two
Bride -Once a game during the day, can choose to propose to a player -The player must decide whether they will or will not marry the Bride -If yes, the proposed player will be so overjoyed, their role will be revealed! -If no, the Bride will die from shock -Sided with the village
It's sort of like a risky day oracle. If you really think someone's mafia you could just try to propose to them at the risk of your life
Nutritionist -Once a game, can choose to promote healthy eating to the village -All voting logs (with the except of village meeting) will replace players' usernames and icons randomly with healthy food -Sided with the mafia
If it included the village meeting too it'd be way too strong so I added that exception. This essentially can screw with the town, because for example, if I really wanna shoot Billy, I'd struggle to shoot. Cause my Gun Meet just has the names 'Apple' 'Mango' and 'Pineapple' instead of 'Billy' 'John' or 'Mary.' Or if I wanna ot as Governor? I'll have a hard time oting because all the choices are just food instead of Usernames.

His reports are based off of how long it takes for him to get a report. This will introduce interesting new gameplay. It would be like lazy cop but even better.
