We all know mods are been suggesting by the other mods etc
So what about a new system to elect new moderators
A new section in the forums where all moderator applications will be posted and on those applications Epicmafia can vote on so its more fair choosing the mod for epicmafia by the players of epicmafia
So its -1 votes or +1 votes with a reason why you downvote or upvote
This will highly stop mods suggesting only friends
A mod should be choosed by the players of epicmafia and not the mods themselves
Current template i thought up

Did you contribute something to the community
Your timezone:

you are all putting words in my comments when i haven't excluded the mods from the community. i've specifically stated that the admin should be unbiased and trusted enough to make correct choices, or to see when their selection has been in error.
And we've pointed out that bias, in a large community, doesn't tend to happen without reason. Whereas one person can be biased without even realising it.
I don't think we're discussing moving to a democratic mod system because people get angry at the decisions mods make on reports. I think we're discussing it because it feels like the community has little to no input as to who should represent the site and be a mod.
Okay, well Braixen thinks the opposite and I'm responding to him rn.

Lemme tell you what's going to happen; you're going to elect a mod. That mod might be crap or they might be fine. Regardless, they're going to make decisions, many of them that are good & justifiable decisions, that you are going to despise in just the same way as what you're seeing right now in the current moderators. Because that's what happens when you moderate rules on a mafia site; people hate you for it because the rules unfortunately have to be subjective to some degree.

Whats the point of even trying to talk about this if you ignore my questions anyways.
Separate red and gold heart reports. Give the admin the power to choose his or her mods for gold reports/cheating, let the community decide who can mod the red heart reports. This also gives the admin a look at how community chosen mods handle reports and can give him or her a better idea of who to mod
"mods should be willing to put up with hate and vitrolics for doing the right thing" - braixen
because there are those people that just like to go against something they know is wrong. So its precedented to be able to handle that kind of public hate.
You do realize the one giving the unjustified public hate lately is you, right?
If you actually read into what I said, you would know that I was supporting gerryoat1 because of the fact that a mod went back on his word.
I bet you also support ISIS you monster

Bias is natural. There will always be bias. It is impossible to have zero bias, unless you're an AI (I'd be greatly in favour of putting one of them in charge, but I think we're a few years ahead of that).
Giving it to the community at large is far more likely to diffuse different biases and let them cancel each other out: except in cases where the bias is in fact justified.

It doesn't even remotely look business professional. Or appealing. I blame AOL for this.
AOL was the bomb.
AOL made me care about and learn HTML and CSS so props to them.
mods may discuss who will be modded but the admin makes the choice.... the community can pitch in otherwise if they believe that decision is wrong and i don't see that being an issue. an automated system on the other hand....
