Considering the amount of throw this round has had its quite safe to say that it clearly disrupted plenty of runners. A few directly benefited from it and a few got completely crushed by it. Its very hard to blame a runner for this since the throwers actions has mostly been directly against a select few runners while some lucky and others were collateral damage or coincidentally benefited simply by being opposite alignmen
It seems the only runners that were significantly influenced by this list of games is elyina positively, and Voidzz negatively.
Though I did not read each individual game nor determined how each game was thrown(if thrown at all is subjective), I believe there is some substantial evidence at face value to warrant a DQ from the round due to illegitimacy so that another user can take bronze.
It does not make sense to reset the round when most other runners were not affected at all by these games, and actually won their games legitimately. There is substantial evidence to conclude that players threw against (1) runner Voidzz. Throwing against 1 individual player, when those games had little influence on other runners, is not enough reason to invalidate the other runners and reset the round.
In addition, the games in which elyina benefited positively from the throws did not have a significant effect on other runners either. Most of these games were extremely isolated and limited to elyina/Voidzz
Pranay, your posts in this thread have been on point - kudos to you for that.
There's something worth mentioning when it comes to doing this sort of investigation every round - you're going to burn out the role mod team extremely quickly if you do this. This sort of investigation should be spearheaded and supported by the community as a whole rather than put on ~6-8 people to carry the burden alone. Having to do this every 10 days is not something that is sustainable for people who want to live ordinary lives.
I think you did your part this round when you reported those people earlier on in the round and pointed out that they were probably cheating with each other. Other players playing comp games should be encouraged to report fishy games to let mods know earlier in the round when there are suspicious accounts playing in comp that need looking into.
like here's a pretty clear and obvious example of confirmation bias:
"https://epicmafia.com/game/5352712/review - fuku refuses to vote elyina when the orc wants them, game vegges."
Looks pretty suspicious from just that line right? Well, if you actually click the game, it turns out the entire town was ignoring the orc because I used this little strategy you may have heard of called "ate" to convince them the orc was stupid and should be ignored. They wanted to test my guilty. Fuku was specifically put under a magnifying glass by the investigator to appear suspicious.
Btw, the vanilla mafia that CC'd me in that game was trying to gamethrow and is now a banned user. Wow, look at that , one of the random trolls was trying to throw against me wtf??? but that doesn't count cus it's konata hehe
The pastebin tells a completely different story compared to what actually happened in some of the games if the games are actually read to the point of absurdity. I insist that my response bin is read and acknowledged.
I mean when you're gonna bring up doccing me every night as something "suspicious" but leave out the fact that I was freaking naked, I think there's some issues with the investigation
Edark, I would like my response bin to be acknowledged in some way. I also think it should be in the OP as the original pastebin has some serious flaws and inaccuracies
