Round 446 cheating/throws.

Hello,

Considering the amount of throw this round has had its quite safe to say that it clearly disrupted plenty of runners. A few directly benefited from it and a few got completely crushed by it. Its very hard to blame a runner for this since the throwers actions has mostly been directly against a select few runners while some lucky and others were collateral damage or coincidentally benefited simply by being opposite alignmen

A few pastebins made towards various throwing users.

We will reach a conclusion this cycle, so the round will end one way or another within 15 hours.

I am more amazed by the fact that 70 accounts voted in the poll

Even if some are alts, I didn't know that many people could use the forums at once

If I ever got the sudden niche that I finally needed a mafia trophy in the time ive been on this site.. It wouldn't even be worth it to deal with all this pastebin garbage if some random loser wanted to sniff through my games, find every account that hasn't played mafia in over 6 months, and call them a gamethrow alt for me

if very obviously innocent users like bluwish and fuku are at serious risk of being banned for being "gt alts" then lucid probably should know about it

There's no bias in listing who was present in a game or not, and whether they won or lost.

of course it's biased. but you do realize she's ahead of elyina, right? her only bias is against the round being reset. and regardless, everyone has a right to put forward their opinion.

ok, saying they "let" her do it was poor word choice, but it shouldn't influence anything and she shouldn't have made a pastebin in the first place.

expose isn't part of the cheating investigation team nor does she have an official say in the final outcome, obviously. she did this on her own,
She's still a moderator and represents the moderation team as such. She should not have posted it on a mod account if she did not want it to be taken as some kind of official pastebin from the mods.

I didn't say it was right for her to do so, but I still don't think it's that big a deal, being the mod that she is

Also I don't think they "let" her do anything. She probably did it on her on then provided it to the team/community

Let me clarify:

There is substantial evidence to reasonably suggest a elyina DQ, but I don't personally wish for her to be DQ'd if it's found that some of those linked games were not actually throws at all.

Since the mods didn't provide explanations how each of those games were thrown, I have no way of agreeing if it was a legitimate throw or not. Many of elyina's comments suggest that the games were not thrown.
I apologize for pouncing on you like that then. The way you worded it made you sound like you were already in favor of DQing me. I've provided substantial evidence that no game I was directly involved with was thrown in my favor. And have also posted evidence in this thread that I was in fact targeted by random GT accounts as well.

Also, I know everyone is questioning why expose made the bin herself, being #1, but I don't think she's the person to be super biased enough to influence what shes doing

If all it takes to reset a round is for abc to subtly throw 15 games out of 500, or to throw 5 games against (1) specific runner, then no one would ever win a trophy on Epicmafia.com
I agree with this

Usually this happens and goes mostly unnoticed, so making a big deal out of this now isn't that great

I still side with banning throwers and then continuing round

You've already made everyone think top 3 trophies are illegitimate either way

Also for everyone so hell-bent on the poll, I am like 99% sure they're not going to do whatever they're going to do solely based on this poll

It's not the deciding factor. It's purpose is to gauge community opinion and stir discussion that can be considered when making the decision

It's not gonna be 30-29-5 and Edark/Nathan be like "OK they voted 1 more vote in favor of reset so here we go!"
