In the topic of suicide I said in in the chat. Some people who are alive need to see suicide as selfish and weak for their own safety. It keeps it from being an option to them.
That's great if thats what you think. It's your decision to think that way. It's not okay to impose it on to others. Some of us have parents, friends, lovers, someone in their life who has killed themself. To hear that they were weak minded and selfish. To hear that they chose themselves over me. It's not something I want to hear and it's not something I think anyone has the right to say. Each situation is unique and generalizing such a complex and deep topic...summing it up into a couple of words.. It's wrong and it's always going to bring up conflict. Nobody is right in this and nobody is wrong either. Those of us who have experienced a suicide would probably have a much easier time understanding that.
When it comes to saying kys in a game, sure it's crappy people are going to say it when angry or otherwise. I'm guilty of it myself but it is what it is people aren't going to stop and you need to adapt to it. I don't think someone saying kys off handedly is going to end someones life either. I think repeatedly saying and bullying them will. The vio sort of works with how I think.
