This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.
Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.
Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

My pitch for profile pets:
Users can "pet" your profile pet once a week. For every pet they get 1 more happiness, and once it reaches certain levels of happiness it grows a stage.
When a pet goes up a stage maybe it'll give you cute little rewards, like you can give 2 pets to the next 5 pets you see, or maybe even give you a +Karma. For higher levels it could even give you 2 tokens so you could gift a friend a sticker(if you think that'd be an appropriate gift)
pets grow and gain happiness when users visit the profile. There should be some kind of buttons for feeding it or petting it or something that would have some kind of timer on it.
when it gets to a certain amount of clicks the pet grows a stage, if it doesn't get petted in a certain amount of time it would be unhappy and if it doesnt get fed: hungry.
perhaps some kind of cost to feeding pets (not tokens though)
for extra fun the pet should play a little sound when you pet it :333
