This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.

Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.

Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

it would also be cool if it could sabotage other items like vests (to mke them fake) and crystals (reveals random target instead of chosen) etc


I agree, Sab needs an upgrade. It would also give the Handy Man role from foxie's pastebin a little more use.

Make knives always reveal when used, guns either/or, and snowballs never reveal. That way snowballs have a use for the mafia.

That's a good point. Since knife attacks will always reveal, maybe it would be better if snowballs never reveal?

A fabbed snowball should reveal the thrower's role only to mafia.

the new icons are too confusing for me, i'm a dog so i am colorblind and these new shapes are too confusing for me

monkey is way too OP as it is. it can redirect maf kills. make it so that it doesn't redirect maf kills but the secondary meeeting of the maf instead


Or make it 3rd party completely!


As a 3rd they can side with anyone they want and other win condition can be perform 3 successful kills to win.
