Round 446 cheating/throws.

Hello,

Considering the amount of throw this round has had its quite safe to say that it clearly disrupted plenty of runners. A few directly benefited from it and a few got completely crushed by it. Its very hard to blame a runner for this since the throwers actions has mostly been directly against a select few runners while some lucky and others were collateral damage or coincidentally benefited simply by being opposite alignmen

We will reach a conclusion this cycle, so the round will end one way or another within 15 hours.

I know when I check someone's trophies and I see one on Jan 2.0 I think to myself "Okay, so they don't actually have a trophy. They won a crapshoot. Cool."

Do you think a Jan 2.0 trophy is even close to being a legitimate trophy indicating that said person who won it is a superior player on Epicmafia.com?
why the heck wouldn't it be, if you trophy legitimately you trophy legitimately regardless of setup. and there's nothing wrong with jan 2 as a comp setup

i don't get why there needs to be elitism within trophy winners, like having a trophy isn't good enough if you didn't do it on a certain setup? that's moronic
There doesn't have to be elitism within trophy winners, but it is widely known that Jan 2.0 is a toss up set up that is hard to have a good run on because in the end it comes down to things out of your control as a runner. This argument I made was given because it plays into the whole investigation right now. The investigation is that there are so many fishy things happening across so many runners and alts that we are stuck with this pause. This is because the round is Jan 2.0.
i actually disagree with this. jan 2.0 is way more skillbased than, say A&V.
It goes both ways.. yes it is skillbased, its difficult to trophy on and things like that, but it depends a hell lot on the orc, and if that person is a new player who could be influenced easily.. well rip
I agree. I think the reason it's difficult to trophy on comes from it being such a toss up based off PRs, hence why I think we shouldn't confuse hard to trophy on because it's a tough set up that takes massive amounts of skill with tough to trophy on because it's a huge tossup that you can quickly lose control of no matter how good of a player you are.

I don't think anyone is considering DQ'ing elyina at this point.

They want to reset the round completely because 30 games were subtly thrown (subjective, it's possible many of these games weren't thrown at all IDK I didn't review them)

This means that if abc throws 30 games next round and makes a pastebin, they're obligated to reset the following round based on this round's precedent.

Which IMO is not the correct thing to do.

I think all gold heart games should have anonymouse deck
You should be more subtle about trying to destroy epicmafia and just ddos the site it's much easier
less people would play because less people would cheat =3
