Comp has been dead for, what, 3 years now, and we still have a dozen people from the long gone era creepily hanging around in these forums for no reason.

So, I guess you guys all agree that competition is dead and we can't do anything to liven it up?
most of the solutions involve lucid coding something new for an extended period of time and i doubt lucid cares enough to spend time coding for comp when he could just as he easily code like 4 new games

I prefer speculating about solutions to a game I don't play and how to make it so I can be inevitably disappointed when it doesn't create the magic I experienced in my youth

you mean undo the gold/red heart system that you pioneered personally?
I pioneered said idea because lucid refused to merge lobbies.

i mean, there are already tiers of red hearts that exist. you get FP, which fills, and other red heart games, like [any competitive setup] that doesn't fill unless you have friends
