tbh though i deleted a gold i shouldn't have had when i farmed the bronze that i got cheated from. people forget that, and i farmed the bronze because it was more accurate than having the gold (and i thought i was leaving for good after i did it which is why i did it, but sonseray yanked me back)
Because EM isn't like a video game unless you're playing SC Mafia or WC3's VH.
The issue is that a fair amount of players base their playstyle and reads around better-known players, and trophies/points are a part of that. I just think it's pointless to do a full on reset because I don't think it's going to have an impact in the long run.

I don't see the issue with comparing EpicMafia to one of the greatest games of all time in Diablo 2, and adopting their approach with ladder resets.
Which, speaking of, they just did another reset within the last week. If I find my product key, who's in?

Also Steve I agree with that, he needs to realize that his idea that he implimented was stupid because custom lobby rounds don't fill because no one plays that crap so it's literally 1 person filling games on alts and getting gold trophies, bring back main lobby trophies, and have trophies show in games. When trophy winners join red heart games and their trophies show in games i can guarentee people will be interested in getting better, and the influx of bad players and fp will decrease significantly

What's the point in improving if you need like 3 trophies just to be recognised as an average player, especially when those trophies are immediately undermined by the 'veterans' because they were achieved at a time where they are deemed to be less valuable.

SuperNova would've been fine with a trophy wipe 30 days ago, so ignore him.
You guys care too much about the past, if you want players to improve you need to care about the current players being recognized and stop caring how brownpimp and Sidekick will feel.

A lot of computer games have only been successful because they reset their ladders. To expand, if everyone prior to you joining a community is already at a level, it takes a lot of time to catch up with everything that is going on. The fact that most of the people who have accumulated 'fame' are no longer present suggests that maybe it's time to just revitalise the interests of those who are here right now.
