id like to see into the mind of people who believe they are gender non binary. it always makes me wonder why they can't just pick one and go for it instead of having to expect everyone to recognize that youre both

So I'm grossly simplifying it rn, but it's the best way to explain it tbh. Keep in mind it's about more than appareances. There's also social and psychological factors.

Imagine you see someone who dresses like a woman. They wear a skirt, they wear make-up, their nails are painted etc etc.
Now the next day you meet the same person, but this time they dress like a typical male. They have a five o clock shadow, they are wearing mens clothing and have dirty fingernails.

This person tells you they refer to themself as non binary/agender. What that means is that they don't identify with neither/both femininity and masculinity.
