Just remove it..... I like seeing caps, it makes it fun, and after 7 years i don't wanna change how i decide to talk sometimes in games. At least make the filter an OPTION instead of randomly imposing it on active users... Not everybody hates caps enough for them to be eliminated completely
Don't fix what ain't broke, people have been fine here for over a decade already so I'm not sure why randomly this became a thing
Now we can't even say swears. Remove the filters for caps lock and swearing, and only filter hate speech.

can you give players the option to just not read yelling, like some people are okay with it and others of us are fragile and have a very stressful life and that extra line of all capital letters just might drive us over the edge to drink caffeine.
i'll make it a lobby option, but until competitive gets its own lobby back, it'll be off by default. i want a training lobby that is completely friendly to new players
Remove the filter entirely and replace it with an anti spam filter that triggers on 2 or more lines of the same string of text being sent. Make the filter ignore spaces in the text, and no one will be able to bypass by ctrl+V and hitting space.
e.g.
I'M BLACKSMITH I CLAIMED OK = perfectly fine
I'M BLACKSMITH I CLAIMED OK I'M BLACKSMITH I CLAIMED OK I'M BLACKSMITH I CLAIMED OK I'M BLACKSMITH I CLAIMED OK = muted
sidenote - this would all be irrelevant if people just used the spam violation properly
