Imagine the amount of whining the mod team will receive just from me for not pausing the round in case of down time that leads to decay of hearts when I am running. Do you really want that vilden and devante?
like it's 11:40 right now, so this would be about five hours into a regular stretch of play, and there's plenty of Americans on now? I don't see what the issue is with a pause if the server's been crashed this long
I’m canadian, Ultimately this is a business and you need to appea to the bigger market. If you are pausing the round every week to appease the 10% of people who are affected you are going to negatively affect the remaining 90%.
Like I said if it’s a 12 hour putting that’s one thing, but if it’s 8 hours between 11 pm - 7 am EST/PST the damage done is rather minuscule
Bsm is right. But since I'm not running this time it doesn't affect me. But the last time round was paused a round or two ago, if it wasn't paused then I would decay hearts. Last time also vilden made a fuss about it. He just doesn't undersrand that some people play at a certain time only. And if the site is down at that time then the will decay hearts. So this has to be decided objectively. Because even if one person or no person is affected, we still don't know. If we dont pause and someone comes back and sees they decayed a heart and missed out on a trophy due to that then what will you do? It is not just about the decay. Even if you stacked hearts and you don't have enough time to play 10 on next day given your schedule then you will decay on next day.
