Discord vs. Skype

If you're like me, you're done using Skype because it's hot garbage. That said, I'm probably going to hold the chat for this Summer's Olympics on Discord as opposed to Skype. But several people are still on Skype. There's a big SPLIT between who is on Skype and who is on Discord. However if the poll results say Skype is more favorable, then I'll suck it up and use Skype for the Summer to host the event. So tell me, which instant messenger do you prefer?

i think a majority of people in this lobby use both but tend to use skype more

discord is cute the design is compact, it doesn't lag ur sht, THE CALLS ARE SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER QUALITY LIKE YOU CAN ACTUALLY HEAR MORE THAN THE CRCRKRCKRCRKCKRKCKRKCRKR U HEAR ON SKYPE, text/voice channels r a god send and make everything so much more organized and if you learn how to use bots and set up roles and all that jazz you can create really nice personalized servers that are easy/fun to manage and idk it's great

For those still on Skype, I really heavily encourage you to make a Discord account. It's free of charge, and even the web version of it isn't that bad. It's what I use. It makes your computer lag SIGNIFICANTLY less than Skype does.

Most of my friends are still on skype but I strongly pref discord to skype
