This is not just a mafia site, people this is supposed to be EPIC MAFIA DOT COM people!
Classic is great and all but how are we not bored of playing it nonstop all the time by now, this site has been up for a decade and we are actually degressing!
Back in 2008, classic mafia actually wasn't the only setup played, in fact it was made a month or two after the very first setups that were played.
In the spirit of the forerunning mafia players, let's do some new things!
Back pre-2012 the good players were like, actually good. Probably because they weren't noobs who played the same setup over and over and just played every game on autopilot. They probably had some level of brainpower.

You guys are misinterpreting what I'm trying to say. I like fancy pants/g&h, I really do, they are the basic mafia game with just the right amount of sprinkles on top.
I'm totally ok with people playing the simple classic setups the majority of the time.
What I'm trying to say is that people on this website are stuck - they are stuck in that they don't want to try new things or experiment with new ideas. Just look at sandbox - sandbox is meant to be a "sandbox" lobby (e.g. creativity and experimentation) but it has turned into the lazy chat lobby because all people do is join 12p randomized all role closed role games, then sit around and chat, not actually playing the game.
My problem is not with people having fun (per se, I also hate fun), it's the the banality, dullness, and redundancy of the mindset of the average player on epicmafia nowadays. Sandbox players don't even care about the game, and main players just play fancy pants on "autopilot mode", meaning that they don't think about what they are doing as much anymore because they have done it so many times.
All I'm trying to do here is shake this community out of a 4-5 year deep sleep they have been in and revitalize the originality, creativity, and inspiration of the game of mafia. I'm doing this because this is the only real-time mafia website on the entire internet with a semi-decent sized playerbase (other than that piece of , Town of Salem), and it worries me to see it degrading with every week that goes by and every sh!tpost on the main lobby wall (thanks somethingwhatever).

Interesting theory but I'm pretty sure I won my first trophy literally in between molly binges at the freshman dorms
