No I'm sonseray I don't e-date, I got cheated on by my irl girlfriend and then dumped her which is pretty screwy because I had chances to cheat on her with a girl I've been crushing on since the sixth grade but I didn't because I thought she was so special and I was going to be so loyal, but she wasn't special, and she wasn't loyal, and she was just using me for sex, which would have been totally cool with me if she had been upfront about it and not prefaced it with duplicitous lies about how much she loved me, but she didn't and she broke my heart, and now I'm really bitter

I don't think you can actually be dependent on weed. You can have a psychological predisposition to it, but if you do you'd probably be on some worse drugs if it weren't weed.

I mean I can tell you beyond any shadow of a doubt that he isn't addicted to the weed, though, he's addicted to the escapism.

I am psychologically dependent on weed and surrounded by it entirely for dirt cheap, and I can tell you beyond any shadow of a doubt that I'd be on something worse if it weren't for the weed.

It's probably more helpful for your brother than it is harmful.
