There needs to be a system in place that would allow mods to be properly measured in there ability to handle reports fairly and properly. I very much doubt that there is some one who consistently looks over every report and evaluates if mods are making the correct verdicts.
Why not implement a way to allow the community to "vote" on the end report verdicts and let the players decide if they believe the decision is fair or not. This would prevent any sort of mod abuse and allows the people who run the site an easy way to evaluate wether or not the mods are doing there job well. This also would be helpful for mods in the appeal process, as mods would be able to read the results and if the overwhelming majority of people believe the verdict given was incorrect, they know that the report needs to be reassessed.
One possible way to do this would be to implement a poll after a report decision has been made. Mods would still have the ultimate power in the final decision, but at least this way we give the community an easy route to help improve and monitor the site.
How do you know it doesn't work? I know the current system in place doesn't work as well as it should there is actually evidence that shows this. You have no actual proof that my proposed idea would work or not.
What he said actually enforces my argument once again im not arguing for a poll it was just simply a suggestion Im just arguing for the ability to monitor the mods to help improve quality and fairness.
Only a few people have actually disagreed with me and stated why, but they have yet to provide a reason that i couldent counter on why the system wouldent work Rutab has came to the point where he just says "You dont know the community" Venus just keeps spamming random stuff trying to twist my words etc...
I'm always up for reading complaints about mods. But the argument sucks. We need to have better mods and not make the community sift through all that crap. That's literally why we have the mods do it.
Has there been anyone in this topic who thought your plan was a good idea that would actually work out well? Honest question cause I don't wanna read through every page.
Like, you came up with a possible solution to something you see as a problem, and that's cool man, but when everyone is telling you it's not a good idea, at some point you need to stop beating the dead horse...
Is this really your argument are you implying if we were say under a dictatorship that there would be less innocent people put to death or put in jail.
