This is a dedicated thread for users to bounce around and brainstorm on ideas for new roles, items, game mechanics or anything else to improve and build upon our beloved Mafia game.
Back in 2015 Sims made a thread asking if anyone had any ideas for roles since Lucid was looking to make some new ones (found here: https://epicmafia.com/topic/71173?page=1) That thread's dead now, but it's always good to try to bring the community together and come up with new stuff for the game.
Some of you might know my reputation for designing new roles and my passion for Mafia. EpicMafia is a pretty cool website and can always use some new stuff to spice up and remix the usual game formula, and I know a few of you have ideas of your own.

Sidekick might need to be immune to 3rd party actions. Otherwise, Werewolf can eat it, Clockmaker can kill it, Monk can monk it, etc. Unless we want to give 3rd parties that strong an advantage.
If you tick this box, graphical mode is changed to a collaborative painting canvas, would be fun for survivor lobby.
The Town Gun
If you check the 'town gun' box when creating a setup, on the right every person has a gun, labelled ''town gun''. If one person uses this gun, it is used up for everybody, and everyone can see who shot it. Town gun + personal gun don't stack.
Hunger Games
Another box you can tick which would mostly be used for sandbox games. During n1, everyone starts off with 1 of these items (two people cant have the same item): Bread, Gun, Snowball, Knife, Suit (random), Crystal, Fabbed gun, Bomb, Vest, Sword (doesn't reveal), Asso gun, Doll (just passed around for fun).
Suicide
The suicide is sided with the mafia. He 'suicides' during the day (everyone thinks he's gone) but during the next day/s he can reappear at any time. Doesn't see graveyard speech or night meetings.
Chainer
Sided with the town. Starts with a ''chain gun''. If he shoots town with the gun, Chainer dies. If he shoots mafia, he can still use his chain gun. If he shoots third party, he loses his chain gun and the person he shot receives a normal gun.
