Attn Lucid: Enhanced Gaming

A lot of the time we look over to which roles we have marked as mafia or town, and try to remember exactly what made us townread or scumread someone.

But most of the time we don't remember the exact moment that made us mark someone as town or scum. Often times the answer to that question sadly is, "I don't remember."

This is extremely crippling when we're trying to form accurate reads.

I think an easy solution to this problem is to allow users to "HIGHLIGHT" specific lines with a simple command such as SHIFT+R+Click for red highlight and SHIFT+G+Click for green highlight, as well as a command to clear a highlight SHIFT+Click. (Something needs to prevent a bunch of R's and G's from appearing in text box)

> RhinoSoreAss: *just add a button with a marker icon, that when you left click on it and choose a line, that line gets highlighted and when you right click on it opens up a color selector window and lets you choose the color.*

This will significantly enhance gameplay because it will allow players to use these tools to scumhunt/townhunt efficiently, and it will allow mafia to mark potential PR reads. Players will be able to tab back into previous days to see their highlights intact in order to review information they think is relevant instead of getting lost in filler.

Lucid, please implement this feature!

First, if you're using Chrome, install Tampermonkey. Then go back to the page of the ScumHelp script and click the install button.

So are we doing a Kickstarter for this?

I love the idea, by the way.

excellent idea, only problem is you can just reread or press the little "notes" button. However, I'm signing this for aesthetics.
question as to how this would work on mobile, given people actually do play on it (I know, it's weird, right).

You are a genius for coming up with this.

Would prefer a different shortcut to do it, but the idea itself is pretty cool. Signed.

i don't know, when i reread it's more to find things that i might not have picked up on while i was playing through the game
depends on the player i guess

a lot of people like it as per the petition however

i'd use it in literally all of my games, actually
are you afflicted with alzheimer's
no (although my short term memory is kinda bad) but it would just be super helpful to find it when im scrolling back through a game rereading

and for my videos it would be so nice

While I agree with your contention, the screenshot in the OP is of me being asked why YOU townread ME, so it is a bit out of context.
