A text based adventure game, hosted by me. Post to join the adventuring party. Once you post, I will let you select your starting items, and once everyone is ready, the adventure begins.
You will perform actions by typing "-" then the action. I will then tell you the result of your actions, and roll dice if necessary. Be advised that you cannot take back your actions once you perform them, and that success or even advancement past the first room is not guaranteed to your party. You will need to play smart, and work together if you wish to succeed in this adventure.
P.S. don't sign up if you aren't willing to put a good amount of effort in, last time I did this people took it pretty seriously.
You stand before an impressive moat with the rest of your adventuring party, the murky water not far below. Across it, an enormous gothic castle with decaying stone walls, several tall spires twisting upwards. The air is thick and damp. You can hear faint sounds of people gossiping in the air, though there is no one in sight save for your silent party. A moldy, yet thick wooden bridge invites your entry to the castle.
What you and your comrades seek is the library room of the castle, which contains the mythic everybin document. It is said that every player on the site's most foul deeds are recorded there. You have all done things you're not proud of, things you'd rather were forgotten. The document must be destroyed so that you can finally fulfill your lifelong dream of becoming an epicmafia moderator. And so an alliance of players was formed to brave the dangers of....
Sonrio / itg321 roll a d8 to get hands on the notebook first. Sonrio gets it with 1, 2, 3. Itg321 gets it with 4, 5, 6. Neither of them get hands on with 7, 8.
3 is rolled, Sonrio gets hands on the notebook and is tackled by itg321

-walk up to the lever and pull it, with my footing remaining on the bridge.
Since you remark on this I'll clarify something: the grass between the castle wall and the moat is very slick and muddy and there isn't really any room there.

also there doesn't seem to be any safe spots or notable places where we could all stand if the bridge retracts when the lever is pulled so unless falling into the moat is one of arcbell's grand schemes i would say its OK
You attempt to slide your food in between itg and Sonrio to kick the notebook
You fail to trip Sonrio because he's on the other side of the notebook as you. You lunge for the notebook after Sonrio
You pop the purple flintstone pill and charge toward the notebook.
You attempt to insert your tentacle into the fray between The, Sonrio, itg321 to grab the notebook.
The notebook is a dog-pile at this point, with Sonrio, itg321, and Edark on the ground struggling over it, and Satan and The standing trying to get feet/tentacle in. ... Stand by for some rolls...

lever probably(?) opens the entrance. i would assume to go ahead and pull it
I'm putting this through first since you arrived at the entrance before any of this started with the notebook.
You inspect the castle entrance. There is a large metal slab for a door that appears to be on some kind of rail mechanism. There are gears at the top left and right corners of the door, and rails extending upward. The whole mechanism looks very heavily rusted.
To the left of the doorway, on some grass next to the bridge, you spot what appears to be a huge large metal lever hidden beneath a mass of foliage. The lever is in position slanted in toward the castle, and can be pulled outward.
