To encourage the play of underused roles we've decided to feature themed rounds for every other round starting with this one. Every other round will have half of the setups include the selected role.
Comment to suggest more roles for the next rounds or with new setups that include the featured role to be plussed/tested.
Again don't take this offensively but if the roles are underused, then people aren't using them, probably because people generally likely don't want to use them, so forcing them into competitive wouldn't really be a great idea for that reason (the roles are underused for a reason)
It's possible many people don't know about them but I think my point is valid nonetheless
Moon you may have missed it, but the santa round went over well. We got a townsided setup to farm because the mods decided that the best way to go about this is pick a classic setup with a new role in it.
if it's a huge flop you can cut it pretty quick tbf
i don't mean to deter the idea, but it has been tried before and it has in fact flopped pretty quickly when tried.
lucid used to pick a themed role for the round many years ago every round but that wasn't great either especially since it limited good setup options and it really sucked when he chose something like fool lol
i have to admit i don't really like the idea (i'm p traditional in my view on competitive i guess) but the setups won't get many plays anyway so i don't see it as a big deal other than less tolerable setups to play in the round
it might give some competitive rounds interest, but it could also cause loss of interest in competitive as well i suppose
to be fair the round where santa was used was pretty stupid however I did enjoythat armed and santa setup. perhaps maybe just having a moderator comp one setup with each of these roles?
