that catharsis is control, bear. that's what schadenfreude is made of. it's the little kid beneath the burning sun, afraid of it. but then he thinks that it might be for his amusement, taking up the magnifying glass to hold over the ant smaller than him. there's no much between people inherently, so we must control each other. i mean, think about it. think of how people dress each other up in sex. maid outfits, gimp suits, sex slaves, bdsm, and so on. it's obvious, tbh.

meh. it's obviously something pretty huge. i could go through a bunch of f*cked up cases that have sex front and center
most murder is committed for either pleasure, passion, or profit. pleasure is the closest one the falls under serial killing and even then serial killers are largely associated with psychopathy and sociopathy

nah, it's way deeper than that dude. what defines pleasure? control. take dahmer for instance. all of his killing was supposedly to have control over the person, so that he might love them as he would. he even stated that he disliked the killing, that it was just a means to that end. and there are a bunch of cases i could go through too. sex is huge dude. it's probably the very foundation of human relation

i mean if it was just control then they would get positions in middle management. i hate those arguments. there's some level of catharsis in causing another human being physical discomfort and pain.
