Fancy pants and classic mafia isn't the problem, because all of you (SuperNova, Zovea and all the FP haters) started off playing either fancy pants or classic mafia when you started on this website. Something or someone made you make the transition to competition, now we need the newer players to make the transition.

Quite frankly idc if D3x whatever, packidy and Trump want to play Fancy Pants & report noobs for not softing cop on day 1 until they grow old but there's no way that we shouldn't be able to get others to make a transition to comp or even other red heart setups

I came up playing 163/FDD and other legitimate D1 mylo setups.

FP allows our userbase to vote arbitrarily and still be successful. This single factor is what killed off the skillcap for this site. It's also present in all of the popular pointfarms and is the sole reason why they are popular. As long as this is prevalent and the mods refuse to protect the integrity of party mafia, epicmafia.com will solely be a place for pointfarming and vote simulation.

this is a good idea ^ then more setups are played and not just YYC :) or jan 2.0 or HI (which will be next round) etc etc

Knockouts/Eliminations; requirements to win multiple setups (IE. You get 6 hearts per day, but can only use 1 on each Comp setup), last X men drop offs...

There's hundreds of ways you can do competitions.

This potentially could go well with a 1 competition per month idea.

Like I said, if you want to pay homage to the vet players with a bunch of trophies; Giga, Brownpimp, even Jazz can get their own page, all their trophies across their accounts shown on them and they can write a bio about whatever the hell they want, that can be there like a Legends tab. The rest needs to go, no question.

i don't care about veteran players.

i just meant people who have a lot of trophies, honestly. The old players could do whatever they're doing now, their account stats being wiped wouldn't affect them in any way since 95% of them haven't been on the site in upwards of 12 months

I used to delete cheaters accounts if they'd got trophies. It didn't really deter people, but it was quite satisfying a retribution.

i don't think there's any way to deter cheaters, unless u just remove the competition, but people cheat in red heart now aswell, it's just not caught because no one really looks into it

the deleting of accounts would just be a punishment, because u wasted time cheating only to get banned for 6 months & then lose the trophy, and all the stuff u had on the account

i missed 10 pages of this, but man i hope this happens. if this does in fact happen though, it cannot be ran the same way. staff needs to figure out a way to switch things up before its done
