on the mentor page are actually learning anything?
How hard would it be to fix the mentor program completely, I remember when Shivv - arguably one of the best players wanted to be a mentor attempted for months to become a mentor and no one gave him the time of day.
Why have a program if it's not being incorporated into the site to do what it's suppose to do? I literally just actually looked at the mentor page and I see maybe 1 or 2 mentors who actually don't suck at the game, the mentees are literally all the same anime bullSh** avi, what the hell how does no one notice the site literally sucks because no one is teaching the new players how to progress from Fancy Pants > other setups,

I know how this story ends. Zovea solves all of our problems with an unprecedented breakthrough like the laws of newton, but dies a virgin. I've seen this movie.
If you have a clear slate, people will see themselves popping up on the hall of fame, or dropping away from it on a daily basis. Because of this, their goal will be clearly in sight, and they'll work harder to achieve or maintain it.
At present, the hall of fame board is squandered with past & present, custom & official, exploited & earned etc. So if anyone makes any beneficial progress towards their account, it's quite heavily camouflaged, and thus not as satisfying.
People will be more compelled to get involved as a result of instant gratification.
