in all honesty, logically, the doc should be at fault. that might not be the way it was but that's what i want to discuss with ppl.

well in all honesty, yes, if it's incredibly obvious that the doctor is saving someone even on meteor night, intentionally killing the save is just as bad (but NOT worse) than the doctor's actions.

but it's a terrible precedent to set that the doctor is not at fault themself, and one i want to change

Why do we even put a doc in jan if saving until maf forces meteor is therefore town's fault?
you've jumped like 7 logical setups to get to there and i don't know the steps you've taken so you're going to have to elaborate
the scenario you're suggesting is that the only person the doc should be allowed to save is the player that gets reports (cop). Otherwise you are letting maf hit the same person 4 times with nothing accomplished.

remember, in order for meteor night to happen, town must actively choose to NL 3 times
what the actual ... why don't we just give mafia wins in every game, town is at a significant disadvantage already in this meta in jan 2.0 - actually every setup, you're literally right now advocating for bad mafia play to be rewarded

Connor, let's change the situation. What if the doc was saving the orc the whole time, and on the meteor night the doc didn't go on the orc to not force meteor and the orc was on the doc and revealed the doctor.

Is that fine?
