do you get Genesee beer at all in your neck of the woods? It's like the Keystone of Rochester, NY and I had a colleague who took off from work in order to find a local place that distributed it.

what sort of tea do you like? the best tea i've ever had was a really strong ginger tea i had while i was backpacking in tibet, but i think i appreciated that more due to where i was when i drank it. i've had ginger tea back home and it's good but it's just not the same.

i've had some ginger tea, i've never really cared for it though. did you have the tibetan butter tea (i think it's called that)?

I like grassy / astringent green teas mostly, but anything green is good by me typically. I'll drink all of it, but i gravitate towards greens almost always.

oh god, yak butter tea. yeah i had it multiple times, it was AWFUL. before drinking it we had all been warning most westerners don't like it and this one girl and i joked quietly among ourselves that "it can't be worse than semen" but as soon as we both took our first sip we took shared this silent look between each other. we had our best "contented" faces of because we knew we had to be polite but we could both see the horror in each other's eyes. there was an unspoken "it's worse..." said between us.

in terms of actual teas (not herbal tea that is) i'm more of a black tea person myself, though i like it all as long as i can put a bit of honey in it. though a strong, bitter tea can be nice now and then actually.
