It wasn't done arbitrarily, SDS was comped last round with the same imbalance as A&D and did fine. It doesn't make sense to disallow one over the other since they have the same payout. guns for everyone

a mod should really tell helsinski that a person can't get 2 different violations for one game, i've seen her take the lead and give multiple violations to a user in one game.

Every setup is way more scumsided now than in the past. The entire comp playerbase has got more scumsided and has been doing so for at least 2 years.

i've come to think about how bad most epicmafia setups are in a mafia sense and how they only work because of the playerbase and established meta on epicmafia so if people wanna play another bad setup then oh well

in one perspective i dont see what it's going to kill to unban A&D but in another perspective it's an inherently unbalanced setup that promotes unruly behavior much like any other setup with a gun so if the mods want to sift through hipfire reports again that's their perogative

there's a difference between "swingy" and "unbalanced"

What big setups are actually more scumsided than SDS and got blocked as a result, other than A&D?

no one else attempts to comp anything scumsided. when i was admin if they did i told them it was outside the range. Janitorial 101 is the only other one beyond 57% scumwin i can think of.

if SDS were remade it might approach 70% scum winrate. this is a different playerbase with different ideas about playing mafia than the one that got that setup tens of thousands of plays.

it's not about 'power' it's about making rules and following them. there's no point in having any kind of rules surrounding a competition if they aren't being followed.
