Ok, so

This site is... kinda bad. I have spent a long time on this site and it has not seen one bit of improvement. The player base sucks, there are numerous glitches that the administrator is not around to solve, and it is overall becoming a negative experience for me.

I have seen a ton of my friends quit the site over the last few months. The most important of them was appleofmyeye. And while I still have a lot of friends here, knowing nicole would be with me made me come back happily. Knowing she is gone leaves a void in this site that cannot be filled.

I have been beginning a lot of IRL stuff, such as joining the golf team at my high school, and many other cool things that are picking up and I just do not have the same kind of time as before. This is why I am considering taking some time off of the site. And I will. I will be back within a month I am sure. I have a bunch of you on Skype and stuff, so we can still connect there.

TL;DR: This site is becoming cancer so I am leaving. Bye

i think it's good that mods go the extra mile but ive found that not overworking myself makes me want to do reports instead of feeling like i need to impress people with the amount of reports i can do

it also leads to things being done more sloppy because people do get run down after a while, though im not implying uprizzle/illumination have hit that point yet

this will be literally apple and matt, except apples a mod now.

it's actually kind of funny, because so many mods and ex-mods complain about how the job is thankless that some minor token of appreciation would probably actually work on most of them

one thing i will give to the mods is that the report count is kind of ridiculous and there is an inherent problem with the website for that matter

doesn't excuse being lazy though
Thing is, even when we were getting 1500 reports per week (which is another 50% on top of what you're getting now), and had 2 less moderators - they did still pile up to 300 at bad times of day but then we'd cut them back down to 0 again because there were no mods being carried on that mod team. They either stepped aside or they got forceably demodded. Sure, occasionally I had to do stacks of 250 reports in one go, but I didn't mind because I knew I wasn't doing it because X mod was too busy circlejerking to bother doing reports.

Maybe if you gave the mods 1 token for every 10 reports they did per month, and took away 1 token for every report they had that got overturned.

i unironically believe more reports would get done if you gave all the mods x amount of tokens per month
again, pay mods in stickers. or i guess just pay them in tokens so they can shower their egirlfriends with stickers.
