Yeah although I enjoy it more as a cultural event than as a show. It's a good show but talking about it is more fun than watching it

Should clarify this to say that I'm a filthy bookreader and while I'm not like most of the book readers who complain about everything in the show I do have a couple of gripes. I actually really really appreciate what they've done with the story given the visual format and I like most of the artistic changes (WHY DID THEON KILL THE RAVENS THOUGH) but I think I have trouble getting past the motivations of the show characters. So much of the major plot points of the books are driven by prophecy and without any prophecy at all in the show it's so much harder to understand why anyone is doing anything. Still really like the show, especially now that the show has started to spoil things for the shitlord book readers because their tears are delicious
