i thought about this for a couple of minutes and honestly i think the answer is self-awareness. knowing who you are and what your limits are is such a huge part of functioning, and it seems like so few people figure it out and remain delusional about so many things. even when something about yourself is a negative it's really really important to understand why it's a negative and why you are the way you are and whether it's something you need to work out of your life or just work around. it makes you a more honest and genuine person, and especially when you're a part of a community like this where so many people value duplicity it's kinda refreshing knowing you're not trying to fool anyone, including yourself

my original account was BillStickers but i selfdeleted a few years ago, because esteemed user maxwell trolled me for 2 hours straight over AIM for mishammering him during a 55 minute game, and then someone sniped the name before i ever considered the idea of coming back
