our prom was once on a boat, so if u went to my school u would have literally missed the boat!!! it was never again on a boat bc some ppl were tripping on acid and like fell off the railing and almost drowned and the boat company sued my school and now we have busses that will take you from the school to the prom so no one will pregame
i dont want to speak as if i know your parents, because i don't, but any parent who would peer pressure their kid into taking someone to prom that they didn't want to go with is either evil or asian
tell your parents that you have to live your life. that sucks that that happens though. i hated when i was little and i had to hang out with douchey kids because our parents were friends.
anybody that gets wasted after prom is a loser anyway. it's a great opportunity to travel and stay out all night without your parents worrying about you
The weird thing is, I am in this situation right now where my ex girlfriend became too involved in my life after we broke up (my parents and her parents refused to break contact) and now I see her a lot and we're "friends" even though I think she's one of the most annoying people I've ever met now, and she asked me to prom in FRONT OF OUR PARENTS
but i said I didnt wanna go to prom anyways
and even if i wanted to go, i would have to go with her now...
yeah that's what I'd imagine most to be. Our school didn't have a parent advised after prom, most kids went to a sketchy hotel in jersey where they could drink out in the open.
Ohhhh. That was an entirely different thing for us, and it was just traditionally called the "Senior All-Night Party". I think it was a week or two after prom, and basically the same thing that you described.
ours was like a thing the parents hosted w/ a bunch of games and , and it went til like 5am to make sure no one was going out and getting wasted on prom night

They have a bunch of inflatables and games at my high school, we get to run around the hallways (my whole school is filled with activities, and the school itself is a quarter mile long)
I heard that was a blast
in the gym they set up a giant sumo ring and you can put on sumo suits and wrestle
