As we all know, if meteor crashes down on anyone during a game, everyone loses the game and thus loses their heart. This can cause a lot of issues and finger pointing as to who is to blame for meteor happening. I had a recent gave that I've been having to fight to get refunded and I think there's a simple solution to this.
If meteor causes the game to end, the game should be unranked.
It isn't fair to make everyone in the game lose their heart if only certain people forced the meteor to happen and most of the time the game gets refunded anyways.
Any thoughts?

If you're protecting someone you're imagining is gonna get night-killed, you're throwing, not the mafia
If meteor caused games to go unranked then people would force meteor when they were in a bad position. AKA it's a terrible solution which would only create more irritation.
people force meteor when they are in a bad position already. And they would still get violations and such if meteor made the game unranked instead of everyone losing hearts
IF the person has any chance of winning when he forces meteor then he's throwing the game and deserves the violation. The game being refunded is a compromise to the unfair action that's been fired off at the opposite side to the one that forced meteor.

Why would you get a violation if the game unranks, no one loses anything
why would you get a violation if you suicide when you are losing and the game unranks, no one loses anything
oh because its against the rules

If you force meteor when you have any chance to win then you've thrown the game. (Given up any chance to win) If any other party still had chance to win the game is refunded because that chance they had to win was taken from them from something out of their control.
The whole concept is stupidly simplistic yet so many people fail to grasp it.

For docsave situations; Mafia are ramming their night kill into the person with the knowledge that they're almost definitely going to get saved AKA are willingly throwing the game. So it's mafia's fault.
It's less embarrassing for you if you don't tl;dr before being wrong

I am so sick of everyone whining about stuff and wanting to infract ppl. this. seriously, enjoy the damn game and let the meteors be as they are. i like meteors. they are a rare love of mine
it depends on the context. if the town is good, they'll say "doc on the clear, mafia kill someone else or you're gamethrowing," which then it would be the mafia's false if they force the meteor
this basically shows how the current meteor-draw mechanic is detrimental to gameplay and invasive in decision making when forced draws are being considered
if the mafia is in a position that they don't need to kill the clear, i dont see why they need to force a meteor and lose just because they want to

why are meteor laws so complicated? last time i checked, they tried to give doc a note for GT for doccing on clear all nights
It should be the mafia who gets the violation.
that's exactly what I said. unless mafia absolutely 100% loses if they don't kill that person, it's GT for them to keep hitting the save.
Scum's job is to kill. You can't give a violation to mafia for hitting the clear, however you can give a violation to the doctor for saving the person scum would likely kill.

It should be the mafia who gets the violation. If the doc saves the same person over and over and the kill is not happening, what makes you think that doing it on the night of the meteor will show different results? "Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
