yeah getting fiddled is just an invitation to ISP too or spam votelogs. Then you have people thinking that faking fiddled is a really cool idea because they can call it a strategy while doing nothing.
Roles that encourage and enable people to ISP are bad.

killing is an aspect of the game that is required to establish conflict between the two teams. it's also a primary function of mafia, considering the majority of mafia roles have the ability to kill.
incapacitating talking, however, directly inhibits a player from participating and also fundamentally destroys the idea of a mafia game in a chat setting, where talking is so much more crucial as opposed to a setting such as forum mafia.
ok, but the problem is the game of mafia is based around reads. you cannot get reads if you cannot see what is going on. if youre dead n1, your reads dont matter because no one provided them. but if youre fiddled (which arguably clears you) you could potentially be hammering between two people who you haven't read.
