Spamming makes the game less enjoyable for everyone and it sometimes makes it impossible to even play the game. Therefor I think spamming should just be one community vio, no matter if it's games, forums, walls, whatever.
you also wanted a cheater modded :/

We're not set in stone on this, I just want to get a feel for where we're at. Surprisingly, sandbox is responding much more positively to this than main, which I would've definitely not expected.

Lobby Trolling should be a community violation and so should Sharing Account with Banned Users... I feel like those rather than spamming should be moved

That's really only a cosmetic issue, but I get what you're saying

spamming makes some people uncomfortable and it makes the game unpleasant , even in unranked. things like game throwing don't matter because it's unranked but if someone spewing hate speech is a vio then someone spamming incessantly should be too.

also some people's PC's might not be able to handle spamming. no one finds spamming fun except the person spamming.

I actually have a better idea.... everyone who spams shouldn't receive a violation for unranked games, but should be suspended for 24 hours at 3rd or 4th spamming. and it should go on... but they shouldn't be lobby banned I think? IDK

This sounds like you're heading in the right direction until you consider vio stacking and how it'd count toward the overall 8. Actually I read that wrong but it's still a point.

Also we wouldn't be able to keep track of it w/o a vio

I do think we should consider condensing Spamming though since there are quite a number of spamming violations, seems silly to have so many when one rule could encompass all of them.

Condensing site/forum/whatever is fine, but games should say distinct. As far as not being able to kick once the game starts, so what? It's one unranked game. People can remake and it's done. It's silly to be so stringent for something so inconsequential

someone who voted "no". - they are all spamming games deliberately and it's not nice anywhere. I think it should be a community violation, however, only major spams...

I'm not sure how I feel about this rule change. I think it has some positives, but it also has its downsides as well.

Perhaps you should only make this thread in the Sandbox forums instead of here, if that's where you're considering extending it to. Doesn't really affect Main, as I've never seen it be a problem even in Unranked games due to Kicking.

Wouldn't that apply for sandbox then, too?

Spamming in that it makes it difficult to play the game or lowers the quality of the game. Regardless of the content.
