A couple months back I'm sure you all remember having to make/remake new setups to keep up with all of the new roles lucid was adding. Well I am extremely far behind and seeing as i have upvotes on my setup I don't want to just delete it and start from scratch. As I am sure none of you would. This is a petition to get an edit button added to setups so users no longer have to completely start a setup from scratch. Also I know there will come a day when more roles will be added to this site thus' resulting in deletion of our old setups (RIP in advance). It is time consuming and also mildly annoying. Ty for reading vote4edit!! And change EM today!!!
The problem with this is some roles mechanic changes happen every few months. And when a role mechanic changes. Its basically create a new role aka the old role no longer exists. But you can play the way the old role works if you created setup that time. So editing setup would be broken since old role no longer exist to create.
Setups should employ a versioning system that lets people derive their own versions of setups from existing setups. Just fork the setup and go. Net benefit is all the derivatives could be tracked on the master setups page.
it's fine for ranked people to create setups; those have what, ten roles max? it's not so fun clicking and adding 70+ roles every time a new good role comes out.
hmm i see, but i shall still keep this up and see what happens, i think there can be a way to work around it. And i hate effort ::))

because lucy doesn't think it's a big deal when closed roles are unranked anyway, and doesn't need a certain number of upvotes to be played, W/L ratio and point-payouts to keep track of, or strategies that need to be saved and reposted
so it doesn't seem like a big deal to just delete and remake aside from effort
too difficult to keep track of without constantly babysitting
Furthermore, lucy said the last role he was gonna build himself was Mistletoe/Arsonist and that that's why he created the custom role feature
FTR i'm really just playing Devil's advocate and illustrating past efforts at having this implemented. i think an edit button for closed-roles would be dandy
