This is my third attempt at creating a forum mafia game, I have decided that the previous ones have not received enough participation and hope that this one will.

Starting a dialogue as town to another town is honestly worthless to me. All you say is my read doesn't make sense, without going in it at all, even though I've been constantly explaining why I saw it this way. I don't like this vagueness, because it feels like to me even though you apparently see me as town, you just want to point out flaws in my reading, which doesn't get us anywhere. If you want to help town, it's better to focus on people that are suspicious
ok i literally explained this before, but just the fact that someone agrees with my read doesn't necessarily mean i agree with WHY they read it that way
i think the reasoning behind the read is a lot more telling than the actual read

i responded to your fos because i wanted to start a dialogue about it. i clearly didn't agree with your fos on me and i explained why i thought it was baseless
i'm fine with people scumreading me if their read makes sense so go reread my long post to see why i think your read doesn't make sense
Also, Projectmatt, why are you so focused on me? You went from defending me to not, to asking about whether I'm town, to asking about whether I'm mafia. It almost makes me feel like you're trying to get a feel on seeing if you can shift the suspicion on me
The way you defend yourself sure seems like you're bothered by it, especially for seeing me as town. I don't imagine town going to such lengths, unless there was a wave of people growing suspicious about it. It seems more like you think my claim holds some weight, as if you're afraid of others growing suspicious of you. Not only that, you're now becoming more passive to my response, agreeing with the things I've said... A lot of that bothers me
I wasn't signaling you out or suggesting you were doing what everyone is doing. That implies everyone was tring Mac for similar reasons, but it was more like I don't like the basis for your townread, because to me the whole townpact thing just seem like something completely silly, so whether someone is lighthearted about it or not is a really weird read to me, and I'm not the only one that's finding that read incoherent. All this bugs you so much? Yes, mafia can fake everything, but I found the way Mac did it to be towny, nothing to it. I'm allowed to think so, I mean you townread Mac too, so why are you fighting over this? I explained why I thought it was towny. And this whole Take thing is kinda ridiculous, I already said why I said that, and yeah, it doesn't get us anywhere, but my focus isn't on Take. It was too simply make my feelings on people clear. It was one of the things that stood out to me, and I said it in order to see other people's opinions on it.
my initial reaction was to disagree with this because in the other two games the towniest players seemed to be the one helping town along with mechanic stuff
but thing is i don't even see shady's info here as helpful. yeah, he gave a list of potential town/mafia roles, but hasn't gone anywhere with it (yet)
so yeah i guess i agree with this but shady's reads were pretty accurate last game so i'd like to see those reads this game
also, didn't get around to responding to you coherently, didn't have time earlier to actually put my thoughts together clarified this later but i guess "hypocritical" was not really the right word here i just thought that you singling me out for something that everyone's doing at this point in the game is weird
let me put it this way - i thought the way mac was being super lighthearted about the townpact seemed like just something i wouldn't imagine him doing as mafia. i believe this read is reasonable although i'd agree that it isn't a very strong read
you say you think that the way mac is upfront about his role is towny because mafia would be avoiding talking about it.
i believe this is unfounded because: 1. all mac said was 'i like my superpowers' and that's not really upfront because i like mine too 2. mafia can easily be upfront about a 'fake' role anyways you also outed a 50/50 read on take, which doesn't really get us anywhere. i get that you were just trying to explain what reads you have at the moment but i'm not sure what the point of including take in your reads was
i honestly initially wasn't trying to read your post for alignment, but more to start dialogue about the reads + to defend myself i still think most of your initial reads are ungrounded and i don't agree with the reasoning on them BUT i like the way you've responded and i get why i probably came off as overly defensive and the way you reacted to my reaction is really genuine.
tldr; i do townread you, but i think your reads are wrong
well tbh, a part of me wants to scum read steelixmega BUT i know thats how he talks so i dont want to do such a thing YET. same thing with in regard to poser, but i need more lines before i make some decision
