Participate, and don't be afraid to ask questions. Especially if it's a mechanically-intense setup! Other than that, try your best and ignore any haters.
If you want to ease into comp, I'd begin by playing 8 or less person setups, as the 9-10 ones can end up being intense.
But yeah, other than that it's basically a more intense version of red heart setups.. Don't be suprised if you have games run for 30-40 minutes.
Thankyou Tor! I'll use my first comp round hopefully to just learn the basics and get everything down-pat. i hope that maybe sometime in the future i will be able to snag a cheeky trophy (that is the end goal)

I would just read a few games of the setups being comped to get the gist of the mechanics, 9 person setups might be overwhelming at first but the basics are the same : clears, ml, ccs... Practice during gold hearts, it's ok if you lose a few games, you won't trophy anyways. To trophy you need discord and a few tokens to spend on alts, or a family.
Saying she doesn’t deserve a trophy because you were DQed is just making you look salty dude. She tried in every game and basically carried everytime she deserves it lol
