B) Note it and therefore open a precedent that this behaviour isn't vio worthy, because if Munchlax can do it, everyone else can. This will contribute for the site to be less about reads/deception/scumhunting and more about randomness
ftr I think its fine if it get's OT'd, but in my opinion i'll pick option A) without a doubt
If it was a noavi that just discovered the site I would definetly note it but that's not the case
the real answer to this question is that it is a violation if 1. it is shooting town or 2. the mods don't like you. In the 1/3 case you hit maf randomly, it isn't hipfire.

Shooting day2 in fp means you have reads from day1
But in all seriousness I just read the game and y’all should #NoteIt. Realistically he doesn’t need to “follow” any directions from the clear or whatever bs ally said.
I’ve seen any ppl do that exact same thing in many fp games - cop was dead and gs had claimed

You should file an appeal - do this by reporting the mod that gave you the vio and explaining what you've said here
I've noted it. But seems like the community is split on what is 'trolling' and what is 'bad play'. I'm just looking for some clarity here. I've played in games where people have lynched clear towns. As in cleared by cops. That seems more trolling than this.
Yeah, JM just literally told me in a chat the following:
Trolling is trolling. Bad play is when you do something dumb/risky/stupid.
I didn't set out to troll. I shot early. But then I fully explained my actions IN THE GAME. It was, in hindsight, stupid as . This is pretty much JM's definition of bad play. And I still get a vio for it. Not even a warning of 'don't do stupid play again'. Straight up vio.
Generally mafia doesn't get a trolling vio because they know partners and they could shoot based on who could gun them. However, sniper can get a vio for hipfiring if shoots before getting contacted and with no reads. Same with day start setups for illusionist.
