Question of the day: What're your new year's resolutions?

I think I wanna focus a bit more on learning about music theory and that sort of thing, since there's a lot of basic stuff I don't know that would be really helpful for my own personal interests.

because you can't "trust" yourself. trust has to be cultivated in someone else
I disagree. I'd say it's far easier to trust yourself than anyone else and I think the other answers you've gotten have reflected that as well.

No I mean I don't think you can trust yourself because you already know your own thoughts and own behavior. You're not predicting your future actions if you know them already. There's no level of uncertainty when you're "trusting" yourself, so it doesn't count.

I find it pretty difficult to trust people tbh, something about getting burned a bunch etc etc. I don't think I have anyone I trust 100% totally. I guess I'd say my mum would be the closest to 100%.

I've been doing quite well saving up enough money finally that I can srsly look into college so that's a big deal to me planning on moving once the winter is over so progress! Been hanging out with family that I didn't know I needed

I've been good. This break's been a good dose of recuperation for me that I really needed, but it's almost all gone and I start school again on Thursday.

It doesn't really snow where I live very often, but it's kinda cold for our standards. Regardless, my dad wants to grill out anyway lmaoo
