The Resistance Game 4

It seems this game has gained a lot of popularity in this lobby, and I want to see what it's like as the host.

All 3 of the games played thus far have ended in evil being victorious. So as per the idea of HighSpace, I will incorporate an extra servant to the game making it 7 good, 4 evil.

This will decrease the chances of placing evil members on missions and increase the Merlin pool for Assassin to shoot in.

I'd say a good team would be Till, Ripple, me & (a variable depending on who everyone generally trusts).

But if Till has a problem with me, I don't mind being replaced However, please choose someone thou most definitely believe is inno.

If thou are unsure, then ask one of thy confirmed trs for their opinion on who they want in.

I'm 100% sure one was from Bryce. But, mai reads on Jeff and thou are ambiguous, while they're contradictory on Pod. So I'm not sure about ze second one.

Opinions differ all the time. I tried to make points considering generally how a player has played/progressed and then used a few quotations of theirs to make a few points.

T'was my bad if it seemed like I manipulated them to support mai points. It wasn't mai intention x.x

I don't know how to say it without being obvious. But I will try mai best. Heck, I could be completely wrong so hopefully me exposing mai probably far-fetched theory shouldn't do too much damage.

Also, I'm gonna be REALLY vague and confusing jest for extra measure.

So let's say, we have a Jester who loves and is very loyal to our great noble king. Our king trusts the Jester a lot so they tell ze Jester many things. However, a bunch of ninjas from the fire village come to take over ze noble king's kingdom.

Ze king is very young and is still in education aka. good ol' school. For ze sake of ze king's privacy, ze king was never revealed. However, news spreads about rumoured ninjas coming over to destroy ze kingdom.

Learning about this, ze loyal jester decides to help ze lovely king bai revealing to ze whole kingdom that they're actually the king in hopes of making ze ninjas hearts flutter and confess their undying love for ze king which will prevent any destruction. (:rainbows:)

But in reality, the king and jester are deeply in love and believe that they belong to each other even though, neither have confessed. Ze king realises that ze jester's life is in danger after their revelation towards ze kingdom and warns them.

Ze jester comes up with a master plan. Ze master plan is that ze jester will pretend to fall in love with ze ninjas to make it seem like ze kingdom is allied with them. And when ze ninjas will actually fall in love, they will propose to the 'king' (who is ze jester).

At that point, it will be revealed that ze the person who they thought was the king wasn't actually a king. Heartbroken, the ninjas will go back to their village. The fire nation was never to be seen again...

That's my theory.

Last but not the least, Bryce is borderline neutral/scummy to me.

Reasoning: I'm getting lazy so jest read everything they said.

I'll just quickly finish up my reads on the last two cuz life. Jeff is a dangerous read to me.

Now, the old me from the prev game I played would've hardcored tr'ed Jeff. Heck, Jeff would've been more solid to than even Ripple.

But the problem to me is deja vu lol.

The way I'm reading Jeff is very similar to how I read matt in prev game. Their playing styles aren't exactly the same, but their reads remind me of each other heavily.

I hardcore tr'ed Matt in prev game (even though 90% peeps called them scum) and guess what? They really were evil x.x

And I guess I'm jest being wary of Jeff because of how much they reminded me of Matt. (I guess that's an unreasonable read? lol. Sorry about me being me)

I'd say mai read on Jeff is probably the most irrational and really, if no one finds any logic in it I wouldn't be surprised.

If there are absolutely no other better options, only then put Jeff in the team. Because Jeff could be a really big flip either way.

yeah imo highspace is kinda confirmed town so i don't rly agree w ur read there @spadez. if you read through everyones percival claims, highspaces one is the one that makes the most sense and it was also like the best time for him to claim as town, bcos scum was p much on their way to autowin if he didn't claim? idk
The idea I'm thinking is really risky if the person who I think, did what I thought they did. However, it makes my theory of High still being scum and ari + Pod being a town combo match.

And how Pod played at the beginning is influencing the probability of the idea I'm thinking to be a lil bit more likelier to occur than in a typical situation.

BUT, on the other hand side, what I could be thinking is really far-fetched and my sr on High could be completely wrong.

So, tough times.

What seems more likely to you?

1. PoD is percival, and is content with giving town zero instructions. Not even something as basic as telling us what team to form when we're already down 1-2

2. PoD is Morgana, and knew percival wouldn't cc because he appears as Merlin, suggesting a role swap. So he's content just staying on the missions to fail them.

I shouldn't have trusted him so much, but I did, and now we're here
I'm 100% sure the first option isn't true. Considering mai unclear idea on Pod, the 2nd option is possible BUT I have a third option is iorejoifrejoigtrjogtr.

Cole is the other big question mark that I aforementioned in mai read for qrs. I have no idea how to feel about them especially since they barely talked.

Keeping in mind that Cole did admit they will be lurking due to being new, I tried to continue looking at them with a neutral mindset.

But when I re-read, I noticed thy comment on them that I may or may not have overthought over. (Aka. leading me to mai conspiracy theory in first statement.)

HOWEVER, like I said, that read is more influenced by thy actions than Cole's. So I'm still not sure how I feel about them.

About Jeff, isn't this a indication of a possible tr?

I said despite Jeff being an unhelpful wise guy, he could be town. Him being unhelpful is more in just how he plays, not his alignment, imo.

There are many others I would love to see on missions over Jeff. Colester, Tillie, Ripple are the names that come to mind.

Don't mistake the fact that I could see Jeff actually being town mean that I think he should be on missions

One of the factors influencing mai sr on thou is mai idea of Ari and Pod being a team. Although I don't have them as confirmed townies, I was actually entertaining the idea that them two roleswapped as Perc and Mer making thou the old child out, aka. scum.

Like I said to High, I have an idea I'm entertaining but I don't want to out it at risk of exposing Merlin lol. I will mention it after the game ends if anyone is curious.

All I'll say is, try to entertain all ideas.

Also on your read on arisuu, her gameplay was very... reactive? She only started giving reads when I called her out. She only decided to cc Perceval once I cast suspicion on pod. Why didn't arisuu cc pod at the start? If pod is Merlin, then he wouldn't have made a mission with two fails. If he's regular town, why would he claim percival and also why wouldn't arisuu cc? Finally, if he's percival... I actually have no logical fallacy for that. That would mean arisuu and I are both scum? Which would make starshio town by default
That's one of the reasons I suspect Ari and Pod to be a team (excluding mai instinct feels) cuz Ari's outing seemed to favour Pod a lot more than thou.

A Merlin Pod would know 3/4 scum. Meaning the team that Pod leaded with 2 fails should've been impossible. The thing is, I'm entertaining an idea but I don't really wanna out it at risk of really exposing the Merlin lol.

If anyone is curious/remembers, I can mention if after ze game ends. But while the game is still on-going, Merlin's safety is mai priority so please bare with me if I seem chaotic.
