I do not know what sincerely posting lyrics mean but I did not do it to troll people
i mean like posting them with the sincere belief that they will translate into a communicable message
I think you the usage of "big" words confuses you.

what does anime do for you?
It gives me a sweet high of endorphin at the reward of watching something that kept me immersed with its plot and characters. I end up either loving them, hating them, or just indifferent, but I always do my best to not drop them in the middle of it. The feeling of accomplishment after coming to the conclusion of the story is really pleasant, regardless of how good or bad it is.
Outside of that, I love being completely focused and immersed into something, especially stories. It has become increasingly more difficult to do just that lately so I haven't watched much anime because of that, sadly. I end up just not watching when I try to because it feels like I'm wasting my time watching something I can't get immersed in.
Finally, it also gives me common ground with people. I can make conversations (and arguments) with people that also watch. Although the anime community gets laughed at a lot for being huge weebs, I like how opinions differ a lot on taste. Its a true good example of how things are "in your opinion"; you never really get bored with the conversations cause you're bound to come into disagreements.
So, TL;DR: it does a lot of good things, nice question
this post is open to a lot of obvious jabs but they're all shallow and the post is a good one.

i like some of the questions you're asking so pls ask me an interesting one. if you ask me the obvious one, it will be too predictable.
does it ever come up in real life that the classes you take are a not legitimate coursework meme?
nope! this is either because I go to a liberal arts college that is an echo-chamber that affirms my taking of such classes, or the classes are legitimate even though they may appear silly from an outside perspective.
