Use this thread to suggest ways of improving the report system or streamlining the moderation process!

NOTE - This is not to suggest new mods be added or current mods be removed. This is to suggest changes that affect the way mods might work (examples in the past include giving mods the ability to clear profile embeds).

As in : The moderator will be blocked from interfering the report if his name is either the one reporting or the one being reported.
That's how it is now.
Its still abused from time to time. At least now we will be 100% sure on who is NOT doing the report.

I don't think that would do much, since the mod circle can just ask one another to solve the report for them.

Adding a report system dividing in categories: GT - HC - GRS - Cheating
In these categories you must put the day where the vio was commited and fill a reason why you report that person.
This maybe gonna make the mods job more easy and the report system is going to be more clean of reports on newbies players - Because they usually are reported cuz they are news -.
You don't have to divide the report system. Instead, create a drop down menu which gives the player the option to categorize their report before they submit their report. This would actually be counter intuitive as it would make the moderators become lazy and select the easiest reports to mod giving the good moderators all the hard reports.

@Betrayal : hence why it would only be for Edark/Lucid. Or maybe not anonymous at all if it is just for the two of them-- under the assumption that they wouldnt share the identity with the mod team.

There's little accountability on this site but no one should go full anonymous as that always leads to worse behaviour. See, YouTube comments.

And Lucid should add a system where people are automatically unbanned after they hit their x time. There are so many clueless users who doesnt understand why they are still banned/ why they need to contact a moderator to be unbanned.

Also, there should be an anon feedback system for moderators where plebs can anonymously report moderators for mod abuse. And this would only be seen by the admin + lucid.
If there was an anon feedback system, players would abuse and troll the system and spam it full of falsified and opinionated reports. This would be a faulty system that would need Special Moderators to enforce it 24/7.

PonyLove, poser, Shamu, pamda, prayag, denial, Fader. those aren't sandbox mods. and those are only the current mods.
Can you tell me who was moderator before them?

Because i only remmember sandbox mods and Edark boosting how he will mod all ex-sandbox mods as long as they pm him.

The truth is the mod/admin system is broken. It is broken because one admin does abolutely noting (nathan) while the other does everything (Edark)

Last time it was the same, previous time it was the same.

It is broken because there should be other way people to be modded. Not by popularity or by connections.
That is not true. Popularity and connections is the best way to decide who gets mod and who doesn't. If you won the lottery, you would give money to people you know and not strangers, right?
I would not give money to anyone. I prefer to not waste my money, but save them. If i win the lottery i am tottaly donating 1 000 maybe more for this site lol.

That was because people kept confusing me with abc.
