And when people do say that, they mean that the person is NOT TRYING TO TOWNTELL because of the way they're playing, or the reverse. It's bad wording, but not always bad logic, depending on the scenario.

Saying people are too scummy to be scum or too townie to be town and therefore voting opposite of that does not make you a good player if you are right. It means you used terrible logic and got lucky.

I don't think we should call anyone's reads bad. We can all be wrong and the bad person be right. If I have said someone has bad reads I apologize. The better word is "I disagree with your reads".

For the record I do think you're bad for not voting Ripple tho cuz even if she is town she is very much not townie.

i think it's understood that good players can have bad reads

the problem is more people calling others bad for their bad reads in a single game than saying they have bad reads

but that's pretty much the inextricable norm for epicmafia soooo
