I'm bored and taking both a code and an art break from a really big coding project so let's try this: a story, written by me, vaguely defined by you. You can add your own doodles if you want.

You are Poontang the Slayer and you've just accepted a bounty: Kill the King. The king's castle is on Harpy Hill beyond the Bosky Forest past the Swamps of Sadness behind Happy Glades a short ways from Newbville where you're currently at a pub downing booze with the Evil Wizard who hired you.

You have a rusty dagger, neckerchief, and charming good looks.

What do you do?

Thinking ahead, Poontang decides to give his trusty dagger a makeover, but requires some kind of whetstone.

Before leaving the pub, he flirts the wizard out of a fine stone egg to sharpen his dagger with. It can also be used to sharpen other things, or hurled at someone. The wizard really makes a point that it's not just a rock, it's a stone egg.

It's also slightly magical since you got it from a wizard which rubs off on your dagger.

Now in town, there are a few places you can go...

• The village dungeon, which each village has. This one is pretty weak but there might be decent loot.

• The Happy Glades, the next destination in your quest to kill the king.

• The local slums, where creepy people peddle various paraphernalia.
