Keeping this rule around is like a superstition followed in modern times which was momentous only in the past due to the conditions in the past that doesn't exist anymore.

The original intent of the rule was not related to a singular person, rather many. It was put in place around the time meta/friend tables was so prominent that good players would just run with each other and stack trophy counts, but times have changed and I don't think that prominence is there anymore, therefore I think the rule should be reconsidered.
Ok so edark you got 2 options. Either unban vilden and let him harass noobs or remove this stupid rule. Giving noobs a chance to trophy by not letting players run for trophy twice is a bad rule.
Also you mods have scrapped the rule of not allowing a mod to trophy if they do any gold heart report. So why not this? There have been many cases where the mod was allowed to trophy by saying "he just did one report".
the thing you're trying to avoid would be great. think about what seeing someone win 6 trophies in a row would do for how people view the competition. either way no one would do that, so the only thing the rule does is keep an occasional person like brownpimp007 from doing something impressive
I mean poser showed how much she cared about people getting a "fair shot" at a trophy on a "little mafia website for teenagers" when she cheated for four golds.
To be fair, Tatami has a point. The whole point of competition is to find the best player, and when someone is consistently good, you'll find that the general competition will get better
How about the mods ask all the runners in private whether the mods should scrap the rule. If even one of them says no, then keep it as is. Else scrap the rules.
This isnt a written rule. It was just done out of courtesy. I am the one who will be hurt most if brown is allowed to trophy. I dont want him saying that I trophied only because he wasn't allowed to.

Many cheaters were allowed to trophy because of lack of evidence.
If a legit user plays legit and wins twice in a row then they should be allowed.
The mods should compensate brownpimp007 by letting him trophy this round bevause of what happened last round. It's not like he is breaking some rule. It's just that people don't want same guy to win twice. It is not a reality show that you should rig.
I am, it's a competition, competitions aren't meant to be unfun, and you don't see this at virtually any level of competition.
The rules aren't this way for a reason it was something set randomly in 2009 by lucid when he was probably drunk, he also required a fool/lyncher/reverse setup every single round.

It's competitive for a reason, you don't walk up to LeBron or Babe Ruth and say "Mind sitting out this season? Some of those other fellas want to win this round."
On the contrary, it's detrimental to competition to force the best players to sit out a round and not get in anyone's way.
If you don't want to compete and be the best what the f*ck are you running for?
