I think it would be great if the 4th, 5th, and 6th placed users get to pick the setups from now on, given that users are allowed to trophy back to back now.
It would be a great reward for them and good motivation as well.
Since we can't get this coded, we should make a thread every round for the 4th, 5th, and 6th placed users to pick their setups and then the winners/mods should comp it for them as a courtesy.
Same round multiple accounts turns it pretty decisively into who has more time/accounts, you shouldn't get to decide all 6 competitive setups and to continue the sports analogy you can't win both 1st and 2nd prize at any competition.
I thought so too, so I suspended brown without asking first since I realized afterwards it was a bad idea. But he went and told brown differently so yeah.
But it all worked out in the end so its all gucci.
I understand the theory behind raising the competition but what about the metagaming that will follow? There are pros and cons to both sides. You have to weigh what's more important for the general site. I think, in the long run, it'll be a bad idea. If the general consensus of the site is to allow others to trophy back-to-back then it's something that could be tried. If it becomes more of an issue than a reward, change it again. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
