I absolutely agree with you that everyone feels hate. Anyone who disagrees with that is wrong.
I commend you for your honesty, because not everyone is as honest as they should be, whether right or wrong.
If everyone was really that honest, maybe this world would be able to have more in-depth conversations. However, I do not believe "being honest" is the same thing as openly destroying someone's identity on a gaming website.

I liked this part the best, it was subtly mean. It didn't explicitly state the insult, made the reader work a little bit for it, so the laugh was more genuine and satisfying. A real rollick.

If you're speaking technically, then you're right, words are not hateful.
However, you're dismissing the obvious fact that words come with a certain connotation.
If you were to say "fa***t", the connotation accompanying the word is one that most people find extremely unpleasant and targeting the homosexual community.
Here's a different example:
Take the word "puppy" and imagine it in your head. What do you see? I actually don't know what you see, but most people see a very joyous ball of fluff running around and being a dumb but cute idiot. The connotation of the word "puppy" is nice.
It works in the same way. Objectively speaking, you're right about the words, but society has placed meaning on top of the words that are often more recognizable than the words themselves.
I am honestly not trying to get under your skin. I am just wondering why you defend such things as hard as you do.
