Please just let the people who enjoy FP to play FP and those who don't enjoy FP to play comp. I honestly do not give half a f*ck how the quality of red heart games is because... I .... play.... Gold.... hearts.... Don't try to save red hearts, they are doing just fine in their little bubble and can move up whenever they please. The idea that a bunch of comp players playing FP will cause noobs to improve and make Comp better overall is a nice dream that's not super realistic.

You can play fancy pants or g&h, basic variant, jan2.0 there is plenty of setups
point taken. but BV and vdli will always be in contention for that slot. if none of the 3 is comped no one should take any given round seriously until someone invents another scumhunt
I think all of us would play to our full potential and towards our own win conditions at all times if we didn't know where we and our competition stands.
The mods or only the admin may need some information to deal with cheatings.
Or the investigation can be done at the end.
Please discuss this idea. I wanna know what everyone thinks and what will be the pros and cons.
Then ban the rude players for hateful comments and they can be toxic anywhere else.
If we don't encourage anyone new to play then the playerbase will obviously suck. You can learn from experience, but if the whole community in a new website threatens you then, at least me, would leave.
edit: the reason I stayed is because I found out Sandbox almost instantly and played there a lot. The community WAS(?) much more welcoming and nice.
Your idea is "all good players in comp so send them to red heart so red heart is better". HAVE YOU PLAYED RED HEART? Having a bunch of comp players in red heart will not improve the games. It will cause: 1) Comp players raging at new players 2) New players discouraged 3) Massive exodus off of Epicmafia
If the round page was anonymous and one wouldnt know who to throw against, then it would help.
Morover, I'd be much more ok if I didnt even know my position on the round page. It would be 10 times less stressful and I would be able to enjoy all the games. If I end up having a great ratio, I'll trophy at the end. We should be able to see the standings once the round is over.
It does have a lot of disadvantages, but I would like to try it once or at least discuss the advantages and disadvantages with others so I can think of all the possibilities.
The current system itself has many disadvantages, so we can consider a change. Every arrangement will come up with some issues and we have to compromise.
a truly competitive setup must have at least one of the following:
1. gunsmith 2. vig 3. yakuza
a setup without at least one of these is not worth playing. the more of these elements that are present in the setup, the more competitive it becomes

That's why you kill them N1 and get metacleared. It is not your fault people autoclear on meta so it is still legit. You are not the one breaking the rules, the others are bad for believing in the meta.

you're not gonna be able to force people who dont wanna play fancy pants to play fancy pants just by turning off comp, dude. it's a bad idea.
