pros:

  • encourage ppl to play red hearts and create new setups/play new setups
  • mods are happy to do their job and look into things
  • best planification and hype for comp
  • less drama

cons:

  • less drama

BLACKLIST FP, force people to play classic and g&h those setups will move players to comp bc theyre setups which require some skill and thinking. FP can be random because of the multi + NL d1 thing.

ban armed and vested from the lobby as well (you can unban it when sheriff decides to shoot d1 in every game and not NL, then blacklist it again cause it'd turn townsided).

edark and nathan do it. itd improve this site +100 times.

why isnt the new comp thread started yet, saying a BIG congrats, enlarged avis and related gifs, is it because I am still considered a noob?

But FP stays, stop blacklisting popular setups. Multi setups are also allowed in comp.

why not? I understand once ev 3 months is extreme, but once per month is perfect. you dont have a rush to start other rounds if you need investigation, theres more hype for comp and trophies would have more 'value'... its a competition it should be important, having it how it is rn it doesnt make it 'special'. plus people wont leave the site for not having competitive for 15 days

nobody is going to leave for good if comp is one month. the people who participate in the comp will be much higher as a result actually, even if its not this same group that ur used to. i say let em leave if this is what finally cuts em from their lives

If some people don't come back because of this, it'll be hard

plus there isn't a lot keeping new players on this site anyways, and if you mostly get rid of the biggest aspect this site has, it wont go well

i didnt read this thread but once a month comp is good. your useless trophies will actually mean something, more people will be signing up for it and play due to anticipation, red hearts wont be taboo, its a++

i dont think many people who play competitive have left the site. theres still people stuck to it so i dont think people will LEAVE the site for 15 days without competition? also, killing fancy pants and a&v will encourage people to play g&h, grannys, cocos, CLASSIC... a lot of players have already moved to g&h and some of this dare to play other setups, unlike fp players. if we want to keep this site with fresh people instead of the same playstyles, playerbase and drama (cause some ppl need drama) there is no need to keep things like they are now. remember holding it once a month is 15 DAYS without gold hearts, it isnt much? play red hearts and make them a good then mods will treat them as what theyre worth. you win points and record them into your pie with red hearts just as gold hearts there is no point in having red hearts abandoned. x2 setups help, but only inbetween rounds
